MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Fellow Rosarians and Friends,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our website. As President of this noble organization, together with the rest of the leadership team, we’re excited to usher in our New Direction Executive for the 2019-2020 administration of the Holy Rosary Secondary School Kenema, Old Girls Association-NA.
My team and I, have set high expectations but realistic goals with your support and dedication. “Teamwork makes the Dream work,” Rosarians have the mandate to help rebuild their school. So let us foster a community of Sisterhood, Love, Pride and Service to our School and to our Alumnae Association. our aim is to bring back the high academic achievement and performance which attracted students and educators from around the globe. The school has re-opened its Boarding Home, which is operated by the Holy Rosary Sisters, to give students the opportunity to live on campus away from all distractions.
I am therefore, asking that all Old Girls who reside in North America to join us in promoting the School that we love so much, that has given us the core foundation and discipline needed to face the world. This prestigious secondary school for girls in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone, has helped shape us into becoming who we are today, and continue to do so for countless young girls with big dreams. Therefore, it is only right that we don’t turn our backs but give back and help make another Girl-Child realize her full potential. Our organization is registered as a nonprofit section 501(c)3 entity of the IRS code, making all donated fund tax deductible. I am therefore, pleading to all and sundry to come out and support or sponsor all our fundraising activities.
The Executive is looking forward to serving the organization the best way possible, and encouraging participation from every member. Your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, comments and concerns are always welcome. Together, we can build stronger relationships, a solid Alumnae Organization and a School we’ll all be extremely proud of. HRSS Kenema will regain her full glory!
